DISCIPLES MAKING DISCIPLES

Welcome

We are a bunch of messed-up people serving a perfect Savior.

Over the past 150 years, the church has been through many trying times as well as many times of great blessings, expanding and reaching out to our community through local missions, eventually founding First Baptist Church of Oak Island and Beach Road Baptist Church.

As we move into the future, Southport Baptist Church is still committed to being a place of worship, fellowship and gathering for everyone in the community.

We are here to serve, just as our founders were…

Worship Services

Sunday Morning Service

10:30AM

Come join us Sunday mornings in the sanctuary for worship, preaching and teaching! We have a worship service together as a family of God. We WELCOME ANYONE and EVERYONE to join us!
Fellowship Opportunities

Sunday Mornings

Join us before Worship in one of our Sunday School classes! Sunday School starts at 9:15am and allows for an amazing fellowship time and in depth learning about God’s Word.

Wednesday Evenings

Join us Wednesday evenings at 5pm from  September through the end of May for dinner with classes to follow. It gives our church family a time to fellowship with each other along with people from the community. Men’s and women’s classes start at 5pm during the summer.

A word from our pastor...

I am so glad that you are checking out our website. At Southport Baptist Church, we are a Southern Baptist Church whose mission is to make disciples who make disciples, and we take the Great Commission seriously. We realize that we are a church full of messed up people led by a messed up pastor, but we are serving a perfect Savior. We have a 2050 Vision to baptize 1,000 people and plant or replant 5 churches by the year 2050. Please reach out and let us know how we can help you get plugged in to our church family.

Ready to meet Jesus?

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.                               Romans 10: 9-10

He's been waiting for you.
