Over the past 150+ years, Southport Baptist Church has been focused on the Great Commission (Matthew 28-18-20) through reaching people, teaching people, and ministering to people; subsequently, we planted First Baptist Church of Oak Island and Beach Road Baptist Church. We continue to make disciples that make disciples in historic downtown Southport and the surrounding area, as well as in our state, nation, and world!

Wednesday Evenings
During the summer months (June-August), our children’s ministry and adult discipleship ministry take a break, our youth ministry has various events planned in different locations during the summer, and our music ministry has choir practice and choir socials scattered throughout the summer.
