Southport Baptist Weekday Preschool has been in operation since 1974. We provide a nurturing environment for your child to develop skills to build their self-concept each week and we thank you for allowing your child to enhance our day with their precious personalities. “Children are a gift from God” (Psalm 127:3), and we are privileged to enjoy this gift each day!
We are a traditional preschool with hours 8:30am -11:50am Monday through Friday. There is limited space in each class due to the current preschoolers moving up to the next class. The curriculum is based on A Beka, but much more is added to the teaching from the Gospel Project series and other educational websites.
We encourage preschoolers to develop socially, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We teach through a Christian approach by a living example of showing and sharing God’s love and day to day interaction. We have Chapel once a week for the 3 and 4 year olds. This time is used to introduce children to worship and the Bible through offering, Christian music, prayer and age appropriate Bible skills.
