Brief info
I have been a member of Southport Baptist Church for over 34 years and the Director of the Southport Baptist Weekday Preschool for 5 years. I am Ms. Debbie to my preschoolers. It has been such a privilege to prepare the yearly curriculum to share God’s word and love with the preschoolers. My husband, Marshall, and I have been married 50 years and have lived in Brunswick County for 42 years. We raised 3 children: Kristin, Amber and Marshall III and have 7 grandchildren. My education includes an Associate Degree in Preschool Education from Wingate College. I joined the “out of home” workforce, by working at Oak Island Preschool as a teacher and then as the Director. During those summers I helped with directing the first two years of Camp Seabreeze at the Baptist Assembly located at Fort Caswell. Volunteering at the church has always been one of my ways to serve God. It is a desire to be a servant of God in my life daily and be a living witness for Him to my preschool family.
