Pastor Jesse Mooney

Pastor Mooney has served as lead pastor of six churches for just over 52 years. He has been married to his faithful, loving and supportive wife Peggy for 63 years. They have three sons, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Campbell University. While attending Campbell University, he was the recipient of the Religious Faculty Scholarship award and the Algernon Sydney Sullivan for excellence in Christian ministry and church growth. A vital part of his ministry has always been in the area of pastoral care. He has a love for people and seeks to point them to the God of all comfort, peace and healing. One of his favorite Bible passages is Romans 8:31-39.
