Pastor Mike Bailey

Pastor Mike has served in a traditional, established church in northeast North Carolina, helped plant CrossPointe Church in Arizona and is excited to be called back to the "Ole North State" as the Family Pastor of Discipleship. Mike was a double major at Chowan College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion. He holds a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mike is married to his wonderful bride, Michelle, and has three children. He enjoys all things technology, tinkering in the garage, and spending time with family and friends. Mike is eager to see what God is going to do in the life of Southport Baptist Church!
