Brief info
Ron joined the Southport Baptist Church staff in 2020, and he describes his job as “given by God’s hands to provide cleanliness to His house for disciples to make disciples.” He has 2 daughters, 6 grandchildren, and 2 cats (Matthew and Nixen).
In his free time, Ron likes to walk on the beach, work with his tractor, and be outside.
Besides the church, his favorite place in Southport is by the riverfront.
A little-known fact about Ron is he has been a Registered Nurse for over 40 years, and he was the first male RN at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia, NC.
